Welcome to RachelRubinMD.com! I am so thrilled you are here.

A bit about me.

I'm a board certified urologist fellowship trained in sexual medicine living in Washington, DC. I am one of only a handful of physicians with fellowship training in sexual medicine for ALL genders.

I am a vocal advocate for evidence based management and the biological basis for sexual health concerns. My personal interests include the diagnosis and treatment of vestibulodynia (including vestibulectomy surgery), complicated erectile dysfunction (including advanced training in penile prosthesis surgery), low testosterone, menopause management, hormone therapy, clitoral adhesions, pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, penile curvature, incontinence, sexual arousal and orgasm disorders, and low libido. I am also quite passionate about quality of life medicine for couples after cancer diagnosis and treatment.

As of October 2021 I am on a 3 month sabbatical to build a new and innovative clinical practice.

In the next 3 months I'm going to soak in education, self care, and picking my kids up from school.

My goals for "ME-ternity" leave

  • Learn about business and building a team

  • Continue educating the public on sexual medicine through new platforms

  • Learn how to eat right and exercise and do a tad more self care (if I write it here I hold myself accountable to make it happen).
